FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS
Visual assessment of general condition
Checking and servicing the control/repeater panels.
Ensuring that all boards, LED transformers, relay etc are in good condition.
Checking the battery, ensuring that all the connections are intact.
Checking and cleaning smoke detectors, heat detectors and all equipment through random sampling (to complete one cyclic round in a period of one year).

EMERGENCY / EXIT LIGHTING SYSTEM
Visually inspecting all fluorescent lights for darkened signs of aging or damage and recommending for replacement where necessary.
Simulating a power failure by disconnecting the power supply from MDB and testing the lights for proper functioning. After this test the lights are then reinstated to their normal operating condition.
Preparing a report on lights that fail to function the discharge test.

FIRE HOSE REELS
Visually inspecting for overall condition. Checking the hose reels and nozzles for leakage. Testing hose reel units in random samples.
Flushing out hose reel to ensure that no materials are trapped inside.
Checking operation of the hose reel nozzle in open and closed condition.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
Visual inspection for overall condition.
Checking seals and pressure gauges.
Turning the cylinder upside down to ensure that the powder is free flowing without lumps (for DCP Fire Extinguishers).

SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
Checking position of control valves (locked or supervised).
